Application lnformation
- Must have completed at least 180 continuous days on active duty
- Must have expected discharge date or release from active duty within 180 days of start of training program
- Must receive authorization from the first field grade commander with UCMJ authority In the service member's chain of command
- Fill out application below AND contact your local military transition office as soon as possible to begin the required military approval process
About the Infrastructure and Construction Industry Internship Program
- Directly intern with construction/infrastructure related companies where you desire to live post military service
- Management and Trades internships available - appropriate for enlisted and officers
- No Cost No G.I. Bill, and No Experience Necessary
- Continue to receive current Base Pay, COLA, BHA while participating In Internship; unique opportunity to establish self/family in transition location prior to ETS or terminal leave
- Guaranteed interview with internship company for permanent job opportunity
- Prepare for many types of trades or management careers In construction and other infrastructure related industries, including: skilled trades, project manager, safety manager, sales, among many others
- Individualized Internship periods from targeted to 12 weeks; scalable to individual timelines
- Eligible service members encouraged to apply at least 2-3 months prior to the beginning of your last 180 days
